This is probably one of the better Thai food you can find in UK. In fact, this is considered to have one of the more authentic Thai food I’ve ever had either in the UK or back from where I came in Malaysia. My family love this place and would love to pay a visit when we come to the UK again

This is, without a doubt, my favourite Thai restaurant in Bristol. I have probably ordered from here or dined in around five times, and they have never once disappointed me. My favourites are the Laos-style papaya salad and the tom yum soup. On this visit, I tried the beef, which was delicious and generous for the price. The sticky mango rice was as lovely as always, although the portion seemed a little smaller than on my previous visit. The owner is also friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant—it’s a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai food.

Real Thai taste is here! Nothing to complain... - Warm welcome by Auntie and Uncle - Various kinds of menu and they gave us time, not in rush and we can asked for less spicy. - Quick serve, we didn't wait too long for our food, and they came with a very big portion! - Of course, it tastes good like original Thai food from Thailand, which I love. In the end we can't finish because it's so much. So we have to ask for a takeaway box. And with those amazing food, there's no problem for us to just walk crossing the road to take cash out from the gas station. Worth it! P.S. Seafood som-tum is so good! And the grill pork came out like steak with amazing 3 types of sauces(Thai style), and chicken cashew nuts is also amazing because not everywhere they do fried chicken, and that's makes it more tasty! Can't wait to go back there again!!!

Got a takeaway for a family party of 9. Everyone loved the variety of dishes. The restaurant was packed but we still got our order quickly which was a bonus. The food was delicious. And the staff were very welcoming. Will definitely be going back for more.

Visited jeans bistro with a lot of high hopes of some authentic and real Thai food, and it’s safe to say it did not disappoint. Real “cafe” vibe about the place, a very small but homely restaurant and certainly nothing fancy about the venue itself. But don’t let stir you away from eating here. We ordered a some starters and mains to give everything a little taste. Starters - duck spring roll, chicken satay, spicy crispy fish and vegetable gyoza. Favourite here had be satay followed by crispy fish. But all starters were nice and balanced, satays were juicy and nutty not covered in sauce and marinated well. Crispy fish dressed with a nice hot chillie oil and spring onion dressing, full fish with light batter, real fresh and spicy. Note to the gyoza and spring rolls both were lovely and hit the spot. Mains - beef massaman curry, crispy fried chicken with cashews, prawn pad Thai and beef with oyster and mushroom. This where jeans bistro really scored high, that beef massaman curry was unreal, felt slow cooked, tender melting beef shin, real depth from the curry and balance of heat but creamy coconut vibe it was incredible, certainly the best dish I tried and best massaman curry I’ve had. But following that, the pad Thai was lovely, almost sweet and acidic with hints of nuts and soy, very balanced and nice to break through the flavours of the the beef with oyster and chicken with cashews. Both beef with oyster and chicken cashew were great too, nice flavour profile very moreish. To be honest could dressed the rice with those sauces over n over and just ate rice with the sauce from each dish that’s how much flavour was behind these dishes. Overall I would put jeans at solid 8/10 for some proper authentic food with good flavour, for being in Bristol! One thing I would mention, is portion sizes are on the per 1 size at max. And if you’re planning to share and eat more… order more. But then this will get pricey. Will return for sure!

Came here with a couple friends visiting Bristol, I've been before 4 years ago so was nice to come back again. Unfortunately they didn't have the Thai milk tea which I was really looking forward to, but tried the green milk tea instead. It was OK, but still dissapointed I couldn't have my Thai milk tea fix. Nonetheless, the food was really good and my friends really enjoyed it too! Ordered the BBQ pork belly, seafood & pineapple fried rice, prawn pad Thai and a fried chicken in basil sauce. Unfortunately we weren't notified that the kitchen was closing for last orders so we couldn't order the mango sticky rice. Would have been nice to be notified.
